Republic opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run by Taylor Conner and with the conversion the Tigers led 8-0 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Conner broke loose for his second score of the game, going 94 yards to put RHS ahead 14-0 at halftime. In the second half, Selkirk got on the board with a seven-yard pass from Jay Link to Ty Taylor and the conversion made it 14-8 with more than a quarter to go.
The Rangers couldn’t find the end zone again however, and with 20 seconds left Republic put the game away with Conner’s third touchdown of the game and the Tigers took home a 22-8 victory.
