A real 'Sister Act' at Western

Two of the best volleyball players to ever come out of Colville High School have been fortunate enough to continue their journey together as members of the high-powered Western Washington University volleyball team.
Joellee Buckner and her younger sister Aubrey recently concluded a memorable volleyball season for the Vikings.
The WWU volleyball program of coach Diane Flick (16th season—343-91 record) lost in three games to eventual NCAA Division II champion Wheeling Jesuit in one national semifinal earlier this month in Tampa, FL.
The Vikings, making their ninth trip to the NCAA Tournament, completed their banner season with a 27-6 record, the fifth most wins in program history. It was the second appearance by WWU in the Final Four. The 2007 Vikings also made the Final Four and finished as NCAA D-II runner-up.
