Mackenzie Darnielle Crowned 2018/2019 Queen of the Northeast Washington Fair

After accomplishing a series of challenging tasks that were evaluated by a panel of judges during the Royalty Pageant Thursday evening, Mackenzie Darnielle was crowned 2018/2019 Queen of the Northeast Washington Fair.

Darnielle, a 14-year-old student at Colville High School, takes the reign while 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 Queen Hallie Cox steps down. The new Queen is a member of the Stevens County Fiber Subscribers and is the Vice President of the Deadman Creek 4-H. She has also shown a steer for 11 years at the fair.
