The Lion King Jr. 'rules'

The Lion King JR. is playing at The Woodland Theatre in Kettle Falls on August 11 and 18 at 6:30 p.m. and will run August 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 2 p.m.

The 90-minute musical is based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film.

The Lion King JR. tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba, played by 9-year-old Ari Stewart, as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king.

This is a fun production for adults and children alike. Performance of Disney’s The Lion King JR. is open to the public and tickets are available for general seating at Happy’s Gifts (Hallmark) in Colville, Meyer Falls Market in Kettle Falls, Akers Drug store in Chewelah, and at the door an hour before the performance.

Ticket are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older, as well as children 18 and under. Children under three are free if they sit on their parent's lap. There's also a special family pack for $35, which includes two adults and two children.
