Lady Bulldogs succeed in non-conference match-up

Tough opponent this week against NWC

The Kettle Falls Lady Bulldogs volleyball team won their non-conference game last Tuesday against the Columbia (Hunters) Lions. Overall this season, Kettle Falls High School is 2-8, 1-3 at district. While KF dominated the court, the Lions never gave up and scored their most points in the final set, however KF won all three sets (25-10), (25-5) and (25-14).
Thursday’s game against Wilbur-Creston was a hard battle for the bulldogs. All three sets were frustratingly close for KF, losing by three points in some cases. The Wildcats won all sets at (25-22), (25-22) and (25-21). Kettle Falls will face them again on Oct. 24 in Creston.
The Lady Bulldogs faced Davenport in a Monday night 6 p.m. game.
On Tuesday, October 9, KF competes against Curlew in a non-conference away game. The Curlew Cougars are currently 2-9 this season. In a tougher matchup on Thursday, the Bulldogs will face Northwest Christian School’s Crusaders in a conference match. The Crusaders are 7-3. Game time for both these games is 6:30 p.m.
