The Colville Indians wrapped up the regular season with a 35-6 victory over the Chewelah Cougars (2-6, 1-6) on Friday night. Colville finished 8-1 overall with a 7-0 record in the NEA and will get a week off heading into their first round playoff game against the Connell Eagles (7-2, 5-2).

“I was real happy for our kids were able to finish the league season on a good note” head coach Randy Cornwell said.

The Indians were slow to get started on offense and Chewelah managed to control the ball well in the first half, but Colville was able to make the necessary adjustments to gain control of the game.
