Stein Edwards, who was born in Northeast Washington, has returned to the area and is heading up the Kettle Falls High School wrestling program. He replaces John Harris, who resigned his post, but is still the Transportation Director in the Kettle Falls School District.
Edwards, who wrestled in high school (Florida) and attended the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), where he wrestled all four years, was born in Colville.
Edwards, a Boise Cascade employee who spent a little more than eight years in the military, is glad to be back in the area.
“It’s good to be involved with wrestling again,” Edwards said.
Kettle Falls will travel to Wilbur on Wednesday for a Northeast 2B League match-up. The Bulldogs will be in the field of the Springdale Invitational on Saturday.
