City carving out a plan for woodcarvings

The Colville City Council convened for its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday evening to discuss, among other topics on the agenda, questions concerning the commission of artist Steven Higgins to carve tree stumps in Yep Kanum Park.

The City Council has already approved the project as well as its sponsorship through the Vinson Fund to carve two or three stumps that remain from the recent thinning of the park.
