Booths wanted for a Day in the Park

Habitat for Humanity Colville Valley Partners is hosting a community celebration: Day in the Park.

“We are really hoping for it to be a day for the community to come out and enjoy kids activities, games, as well as an opportunity to shop local vendors including crafts and foods and learn more about local programs, groups and individuals,” said Ian Pickett, Habitat for Humanity’s public relations manager.

This community has gone through fires, floods and more and never failed to come together to help each other. In this case, Habitat wants to help facilitate a day where the community can come together not because of an emergency, but to share and partake in fun and a chance to celebrate what we have.

Day in the Park will take place August 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside Colville's Yep Kanum Park.

It costs nothing to be a vendor at this event. Vending booths are free of charge and registration forms can be obtained at the Habitat Store in Colville, as well as on their website (under "printable forms"). You must be registered to set up a booth.

Registration will be officially closed July 1. Vendors will set up the on August 18.
