Republic wins NE 1B North title

The Republic Tigers (6-2, 5-0), by virtue of their 80-34 win last Friday night over Columbia-Inchelium, have annexed the Northeast 1B North football championship. The Tigers will end the NE 1B regular season on Friday at Northport. RHS will host a Crossover seeding game into the state playoffs on Nov. 8 against NE 1B South champion Wilbur-Creston. Republic is coached by (head coach) Chris Burch and assistants Chuck Wilson, Josh McLaren and Mike McRae. Statisticians are Justilynn Van Wyk and Sandra Santana. Film crew is Kyle Kurtz.
