Washington, Montana and Idaho are offering a chance to go fishing without incurring the expense of one of those pesky fishing licenses.
In Idaho, Free Fishing Day is Saturday, June 11.
In Washington, anglers can go license free on Saturday and Sunday, June 11-12.
In Montana, Free Fishing Day comes in the form of a two-day window on Father’s Day weekend—June 18-19.
Although fishing license requirements are suspended on these days, all other state rules remain in effect, including bag and length limits and any special fishing regulations.
